Cousins

What's the safest thing 3 kids three and under can do? That's right play on the stairs.

Christmas morning number two... the day after

Daddy and cousin Baron
mommy opening presents and me watching on.
the chaos of opening the presents
I'm a little overwhelmed here.

The day after christmas we opened gifts from Oma and Opa with my cousins Baron and Amelia. They got in late christmas day but i was already in bed so we had to wait to the next day to their dismay to open the presents. and of course i was the last to wake up too. So I kept the whole show up. but we all had fun once it started.

Christmas morning

I had such a blast christmas morning. I really got into opening the presents this year. I didn't need that much help. Plus mommy tried to wrap everything especially for me so they were easy to open.

Opa's Hat

Here I am all bundled up for the weather. I even wanted to wear Opa's Carhart hat. Ain't I stylin'

Santa

So, mommy and Opa took me to see Santa at the mall and I had the typical response for a one and a half year old. I screamed my head off. Mom said i might like him better next year. I hope he didn't take offense.

Children's Museum

Before christmas, Mommy, Opa and me went to Ann Arbor and spent little time at the children's museum there. They had a special area just for preschoolers with a water table, slides and a big fire engine to play on. Mom only has pictures from Opa's camera so she'll upload even more photos later.

Christmas Parade

The floats were kinda hard to get images of but these two are the best i got. I missed the angels walking on stilts. but i remember them and they were so cool!

Playing with the light one of the angels gave me.
Mommy and me waiting for the parade to start. It was so warm i didn't even really need the sweatshirt they dressed me in. I think mommy and daddy just liked the sweatshirt and wanted an excuse for me to wear it. Daddy got it for me before i was even born. I'll get the wear it a lot in michigan when i go next week! Yay!

Cheeese!!

Mommy and Daddy always point this thing at me, so I thought I'd turn the tables.

big kitty

I really liked the big kitties. they are so not like my kissa and kana kitties but i still thought they were cool!

jungle gym at the zoo

They had an awesome jungle gym at the zoo. I played so hard. I wanted to do everything by myself. which I pretty much did with a nervous mommy watching on. By the way this is my nifty zoo outfit. It has monkeys all over it. and of course i had to wear my favorite frilly shoes even though they are a bit too big for me.

zoo

the nifty giraffes. I can bend my neck like the giraffe.
mommy and me with diamond head in the background. Not to shabby of a view from our zoo.
Here i am looking at some of the monkeys. There were lots of monkeys at the zoo. I like to wave my arms like the monkeys.
more monkey staring
I was so excited to see the elephants i hung on to the fence with all my might.

catch up

yummy taquitos! Another first
On Unco Brad's last day we went to the north shore and ate at a cool mexican place. I had a lot of fun eating taquitos and guacamole .

Sleepy bug

I was so tired yesterday that i fell asleep in the ostrich position as dad calls it. It gave mom a good laugh first thing in the morning. She had to go grab her iphone to take a picture!

moving update

Well as y'all know we just moved to Oahu so there are boxes everywhere and new surroundings for me to get accustomed to. I'm really enjoying my new school even if i cry when mommy leaves. My teacher Miss Erin says I'm a great helper and try to comfort other kids when they fall down or start to cry. I'm such a sweetheart according to mom.
I went to pearl harbor with dad, mom and unco brad. It was so interesting to see and I got to ride on my first boat ride. I even dropped flowers in the water to remember all the fallen soldiers there. Mom took picture but hasn't found her card reader so picture will be up as soon as she finds that.
Mom and dad were so happy unco was here to help with the move. they say they don't know what they would have done without him. Plus i had so much fun with him. He is the best. I even sometimes ask for unco now that he is gone. I can't wait till he comes back. mom says maybe on his spring break.
